Intro to Backpacking Class

Interested in backpacking but don’t know where to start? Walkabout has you covered! Kimberly (trail name Dex) is hosting an introductory backpacking presentation at our Downtown Roanoke Store. Kimberly recently thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail and has been working at Walkabout since she finished. Come find out what equipment, skills, and tricks make it possible to go backpacking and have fun while doing it!
